Boeing opens its giant, billion-dollar 777X composite wing factory in Everett

Boeing is showing off the partially automated 777X Composite Wing Center it built at its campus in Everett, Wash. – the result of $1 billion in investment and 14 months of construction work.

Major assembly begins on Boeing 787-10

Boeing 737- Max takes it maiden Flight




RENTON, Wash. -- Boeing’s 737 MAX jet took off for its maiden flight on Friday morning, ushering in the next chapter for the aerospace giant’s longest-running and best-selling airplane. The company said it is on track to deliver the first of its upgraded aircraft in 2017.

Visitors crossing the T. Evans Wyckoff Memorial Bridge are immersed in a unique and pleasurable acoustic experience as they walk along the “aviation-like structure.” Commissioned by the Museum and created by local interdisciplinary artist and musician Paul Rucker, Trails of Vapor is a collection of sounds from milestone events in the history of aviation and space exploration and popular aviation-themed music broadcasted by speakers strategically placed along the length of the bridge.
