Future of Flight Aviation Center Experience

On 29th Aprils 2015, I had got the opportunity to visit Future of Flight Aviation Center & also experience the Boeing Everett Factory tour. It's the best experience an aviation lover can get.

First Look : I was awestruck seeing the complete field area, as soon as I got down from the cab.
There were around 20 dream liners ready for delivery. There was even pre delivery testing of 777ER and 787-9 was going on. The thing which I liked the most was that people are not allowed to take their vehicles into the factories other than most experienced person.

Flags of Different Nations whose airlines are partners of Boeing

As soon as you enter the aviation center you would find flags of all countries who are partnered with Boeing hanging from the ceiling. There was a video shown about Boeing's Evolution. Then we were taken in a bus to visit the Construction Site. The factory consists of 6 sections, each section is used for production and assembly of various portions of aircraft. We entered the building through an underground tunnel which was around 1/3 mile long. Then we were taken to the fourth floor in a flight elevator which was situated at 1/3 distance of the whole tunnel. First we were taken to the 747-8 Production & assembly line. On one side the wings, stabilizers, fuselage(3 parts) were built & on the other side of the floor they were being assembled. At that moment there were 4 747-8 on the assembly floor all at different timeline of assembly.
Then we were taken to another tunnel to the production line of 787 & 777. There were different versions of 777 being built at that moment of time. On one section of  777 assembly line there is also 767 assembly line. Only a few 767 aircraft are built there.

In the 787 assembly line there  aircraft for Air India(787-8), Virgin Atlantic(787-9) & ANA(787-8) were being assembled. The difference between 787-8 & 787-9 one will notice during Assembly is that the tails section of -9 comes painted in the Airline's actual tail color whereas the -8 tails section is painted after assembly.

We had even seen the construction of 777x building and the paint shops of Boeing.

There were 2 dream lifters at that moment of time.
